You can visit the exhibition "San Sebastián de lo sagrado a lo profano" - Saint Sebastian from sacred to profane - until the 27th of march. -last tuesday was the opening-.
The exhibition takes place at the Sala Kubo-Kutxa of the Kursaal in the beautifull city of Saint Sebastian in the north of Spain.
Along with my work Saint Sebastian modern martyr you can see works of very well known contemporary artists such as Jorge Oteiza, Joan Priego, Darío Villalba, Erwin Olaf, Pierre et Gilles, Bill Viola, Bavo Defurne, Guillermo Pérez Villalta, Bernardi Roig, Mayte Vieta, José Ramón Amondarain, Nestor Basterretxea, Jorge Galindo, Leopoldo Ferrán, Agustina Otero, Jaume Plensa, Vicente Ameztoy, Nori Ushijima, Patti Smith, Ramón Roig, Nazario Luque Vera, Marcos López, Equipo Límite, Alfredo García Revuelta, Juan Carlos Eguilor, José Guinovart, Ramón Zurriarain, Pierre Gonnord, Roberto Gonzalez, Joan Brossa, David Trullo, Carmen Calvo, Francisco Leiro, Manuel Boix, Victor Mira, Joel Peter Witkin, Pablo Pérez-Mínguez, Miguel Rio Branco, Martín Sampedro... etc

From 24Th until 28Th November I'll be at the Arte Lisboa art fair, represented by the Gallery 2heads chicken gallery of Evora (portugal).

And from 18th january mi work Sain Sebastian, modern martyr, will be at the exhibition San Sebastian una iconografía contempoánea that will take place at the Sala Kubo-Kutxa of the Kursaal in the City of Saint Sebastian (Spain). The exhibition is curated by Javier Balda and Fernando Golvano and along with my work there will be works from very well known contemporary artists such as, Guinovart, Perez Villalta, Avedon, Dalí, Haring, Plensa, Leiro, Tapies etc...

This is my last work called The follower (the ilusion of the mass #2) besides it's explicit sexual view there's a deeper view in the artwork that talks about the contemporary subject that follows fashion and shifts in public opinion.
You can interact with the sculpture and make it nod the head and follow you -and for once feel like a fashions' creator, like a public opinion shift creator-.
This artwork was created for the exhibition GLOBAL VILLAGE in the Grand Church of Alkmar, January 2010
