More weird drawings 2

Here are some more of the weird drawings I do at my job just for fun when I get bored. All of them are DINA4 (21x29cms) and made with ink and water on paper

Mea Maxima Culpa

Some pics of my last show at ArtDealProject, Barcelona:

Mea Culpa, mea máxima culpa
is a latin phrase that means, "through my fault, through my most grievous fault", The phrase comes from a prayer of confession of sinfulness, known as the Confiteor, used in the Roman Rite at the beginning of Mass or when receiving the sacrament of Penance.
Our Judaeo-Christian moral teaches us that the Original Sin is indelible and is a part of our human nature.
This internalization of the Sin, this universalization of the Blame is used in a perverse way by our Neoliberal-postcapitalist system: The system encourages the precariousness, the lack of job stability and the increase of the unemployment rate, but it also blames the individual for this precariousness. Is the individual's fault to be unemployed or to be a contingent worker because "to be successful you have to exert yourself".
The Neoliberal-philosophy uses and disrupts the Judeo-Christian moral, and I use and disrupt the Catholic Imagery carving sculptures that through irony, humour and absurdity help us to think about our fitting in this contemporary social machinery.
